GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The name of the series suggests that GE’s Profile series is aimed at those who wish to incorporate cutting-edge technology into their kitchens. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This refrigerator is costly and I was expecting better.

This fridge is a good choice, despite the small blip. It features a large freezer compartment which is uncommon for counter-depth French-door refrigerators. It also holds plenty of frozen food, which is a big difference from other models.

The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment has 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a fridge with a French door at this price. It also has an adequate-sized icemaker packed into the left-hand door, although it's not the biggest I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in each compartment to create a customized storage arrangement for whatever you have to keep. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting adds an appealing accent. The storage bins in the door include a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them for Beverage, Meat or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a full suite of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price with Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere across the globe. It also comes with a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when doors are left open, when the refrigerator or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill which is an option that is available in a handful of other GE fridges that allow you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to dispense simultaneously. The fridge displays a countdown timer to reveal how much water remains but it's not as effective as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French Door Fridge freezer 60cm-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to appear like a seamless piece of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer periods, and two compressors for preserving food. The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This refrigerator is a great option for a single family or kitchenettes looking for an integrated look and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the top in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, never fluctuating by more than a fraction a degree--this is key to preventing freezing burn. The fridge section of the refrigerator also performed well. It reached the initial temperature set within a matter of hours, and remained at the temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is a household name for its high-end appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage space into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge features the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized door bins at each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more room. There's also a full-width storage drawer for products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker, making it simple to transfer ice when needed. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you better organize the placement of your items. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food and a separate one for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a nice way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily improve the efficiency of the fridge. This fridge took longer to defrost food and chill it than the other fridges we test. This could be due to the larger capacity.

The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. They have handles that are sunken at the front, which allows smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, however they're not easy for taller people to pull shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with a more efficient design. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a little cheaper than the best counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth french door fridge freezer Integrated Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an french door fridge no ice maker door refrigerator that won't cost you a fortune this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a minimalist design that's not as visually striking like some of the competitors, but it has enough features that make it a great pick. Its main feature is the temperature adjustable drawer which helps keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker and a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is located above the two crisper bins, is another excellent feature. The drawer allows you to divert some of the fridge's cooling power directly to this area, so you can store foods that need extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've found that the generic settings are more effective than the specific ones.

During my tests, I discovered that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent across different parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator didn't vary much from 38 degrees. That's a good performance however it doesn't be among the top in our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
