How to Replace an audi a1 key G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

If this sensor fails when it fails, the ECU will display a P00160 error code. This means that the Crank Shaft is out of sync with the Intake Camshaft. It is a little tricky to test since there are different pins on the connector and each has its own functions. The most effective method to test it is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read about 1000 ohms if the sensor is operating at its maximum. If you are having problems with this sensor, look for evidence of oil or coolant in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a significant decrease in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning and found that 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the fourth was dry. When I crank the engine without sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline jump out but the 4th stays shut. I checked the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55, 30/55 and 48/55. I got zero Ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car can start if the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is plugged in but it still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars when the actual pressure is 0.

3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 is activated by a signal by the RPM sensor.
